Primary School – Motivational Speaker – It is no secret working with a Primary School is completely different to working with Secondary Schools. The approach is tailored but the underlining key messages still apply. I have recently displayed this at Greenholm Primary School in Birmingham, before I go into more detail, listen to what one Year 6 teacher had to say about my motivational speech I delivered to the Years 4, 5 and 6 students:
On a personal note it was a great session; it is always a pleasure having an opportunity to speak at Primary schools. There hasn’t been a time I have came away from a Primary school and felt less than incredible. The students give you so much; witnessing the energy and enthusiasm they have for learning is a breath of fresh air, especially when you ask them what their goals and dreams are.
I was blown away by the responses I was receiving, answers such as: doctor, teacher, psychologist, historian. The list can truly go on but of course you can’t get away with asking this question and not hear ‘professional footballer!’ Nonetheless it was amazing to sit back and hear about their dreams.
I have a large amount of experience when it comes to working with Secondary School students but over the last 6 months primary school visits have started to become a lot more regular for me. In this time period I have discovered many challenges and obstacles that are faced by the students and teachers. My goal is to continue working to support individuals through these challenges and provide as much value as I can in these areas.
With that said 2017 and 2018 is shaping up to be an incredibly busy couple of years; speaking in schools all around the UK, therefore if you would like to book me in for a motivational speech then do not hesitate to contact me personally on: admin@cameron-parker.com as I would hate for your students to miss out on this opportunity.
