My former college, SGS College also wrote about the list, congratulating me and 2 other people on achieving this award. Here is there article – http://www.sgscol.ac.uk/news-article.aspx?article=mostinfluentialbristolians
Rife magazine want to celebrate everything the individuals have done for Bristol and for youth culture in the city. Here is what they had to say about me:
“Cameron is the UK’s #1 Schools Motivational speaker, not only inspiring thousands of students in Bristol but also around the UK. With a shaky upbringing, making some terrible decisions and getting bad grades in school Cameron has managed to turn his life around, focusing on education, completing his university degree despite having dyslexia and being the first person in his family to do so. Cameron also runs a business, working with and inspiring the younger generation in the UK”
In the article I said “To be nominated for this is an incredible thing. Bristol is very close to my heart, and it is great to know my motivational work is having an impact, it makes all the hard work worth it. This is only the beginning, there is much more work to be done but I do appreciate the support and love from everyone. ”
After posting this article I received some amazing messages congratulating me on this achievement. If my work can inspire people to do something positive then It makes all the hard work worth it, and I am now thankful to be in a position to make a difference.
In summary 2016 has been a great year, I really can’t wait to see what 2017 brings. I have said it before and I will say it again, ‘Hard Work Is Rewarded’, of course the implementation of other things is needed but this is a huge part of it.
I have been on this mission for the last 5 years, it has taken a while to get to where I am now and I still have a long way to go but I believe I am on the right track, huge thank you to everyone supporting me.
