Impacting Teenagers in Birmingham, Middlesbrough and Newcastle – World class speaker and coach for teenagers Cameron Parker has had an extremely busy start to the academic year. He has visited 4 schools already.
Caludon Castle School in Coventry.
Jewellery Quarter Academy in Birmingham.
Trinity Catholic College in Middlesbrough.
Studio West in Newcastle.
Cameron worked with Year 11s across the board, including working with parents on an evening in Middlesbrough. This is all part of the ‘Power Programme“.
We believe it is extremely important to share our wins. There are many speakers and coaches who claim to deliver impact, but we are in schools everyday delivering on our promises. Here is an email we received from the head of year 11 of Studio West, Sarah Murray –
“**** has come from the session with the confidence to pivot from nursery nursing to going for a nursing degree. She will be the first person in her family push on into further education. I have also been in touch with the director of science who’s put in place extra revision sessions as of today which will be of huge benefit to her as she progresses. Impact is a word that’s easily put out there, however without a doubt there was immediate impact today with her.”
And here is another email from a teacher Cameron received after his visit at Caludon Castle School –
“It was great to see you Friday. Just wanted to say thanks for coming in. The kids seemed to respond really well. There were many in the assemblies who contributed but you wouldn’t expect to, which was great to see. There was also a real buzz afterwards and many remarked how good the talk was. I’m really hopeful this sets them on the right path for this year. We will continue to disseminate your message!”
