The new academic year is officially underway for Cameron Parker, CEO of Dreams 2 Reality and the UK’s #1 motivational speaker for secondary schools. The first week showed exactly what the next chapter of Dreams 2 Reality is all about.
After 14 years of delivering motivational talks, workshops and programmes in schools across the UK, Cameron’s focus is no longer just on the impact he can make personally. It is about building a team capable of reaching more students, more often and the first week back was a perfect example.
Starting the Year With Teachers at Meridian High School
On Tuesday, Cameron was at Meridian High School in Croydon, London, delivering a keynote session to staff ahead of the new academic year. The session explored what impact really looks like in education, the power of language and how schools can think differently about closing the attainment gap for Pupil Premium students. It was honest, challenging, motivational and most importantly, practical. Following the session, numerous teachers approached Cameron to thank him, with several describing it as one of the best talks they had heard.
For Cameron, that feedback was particularly important. The goal was never simply to motivate staff for an hour, but to provide ideas, perspectives and practical thinking that could influence what happens in classrooms throughout the academic year.
Launching the Dreams 2 Reality Power Programme in Bristol
On Thursday, Cameron travelled to Abbeywood Community School in Bristol to launch the Dreams 2 Reality Power Programme. But this time, he wasn’t alone. Cameron was joined by two of Dreams 2 Reality’s exclusive speakers and Dream Makers: Mitch Goode and Milli-Rose.
Mitch is a world-class coach and professional MMA fighter who will now become the Dream Maker delivering a six-day Power Programme targeted specifically at Pupil Premium students at the school. The Year 11 launch also had an added bonus. Music artist and business owner Milli-Rose delivered an inspirational talk, sharing her story and experiences with students before finishing with an incredible singing freestyle.
The reaction from students and staff showed exactly why Cameron is so excited about the team being built around Dreams 2 Reality.

Back to Meridian for the Year 11 Impact Day
On Friday, Cameron returned to Meridian High School, but this time the focus moved from the teachers to the students. As a motivational speaker for secondary schools, Cameron has spent 14 years working with young people across the UK, but the start of Year 11 remains one of the most important times to create impact. The year ahead will bring GCSEs, pressure, difficult decisions and questions about what comes next.
The Year 11 Impact Day was designed to challenge students around their mindset, motivation, standards, choices and approach to the year ahead. But perhaps the best evidence of the day’s impact came after Cameron had left the school.
The Messages That Show the Real Impact
Following the Year 11 Impact Day, Cameron received a number of messages directly from students. One student said Cameron’s story and journey had inspired them to “try harder on my GCSEs.” Another spoke openly about having a difficult relationship with school and struggling personally, before explaining that the session had inspired them to “become a better person and pass these GCSEs.”
Perhaps one of the most powerful messages came from a student who had missed a significant amount of school the previous year and had been nervous about returning. They explained that Cameron had given them “the motivation to work hard for my own sake.”

I don’t really have a good relationship with school, and I have been struggling for a while, but you have really inspired me to become a better person and pass these GCSEs. Thank you for coming to my school. It was very much appreciated.

Hi Cameron, I just wanted to say thank you for the talk you gave at Meridian High School today. I missed a lot of school last year due to anxiety and was very nervous about coming back, but you gave me the motivation to work hard for my own sake. Thank you so much.
For Cameron, messages like these are what impact is really about. A successful motivational talk isn’t measured by how loud the applause is when the session finishes. It’s about what a young person thinks, feels and, most importantly, does next.
That is also why Dreams 2 Reality is increasingly focused on what happens beyond the initial motivational talk, through targeted workshops, Pupil Premium interventions and longer-term programmes that give students continued support throughout the academic year.
And While Cameron Was in London…
At exactly the same time, Dreams 2 Reality speaker and Dream Maker Tyrese was at Walsall Football Stadium delivering the Power Hour to Year 11 students from E-ACT West Walsall Academy.
Once again, the feedback was incredible. Cameron will also be working with the school this academic year through the Dreams 2 Reality Pupil Premium Power Programme, providing further targeted support for students. Perhaps this is the biggest sign of how much Dreams 2 Reality is evolving. Cameron can be delivering to hundreds of students in one part of the country while another member of the Dreams 2 Reality team is creating impact somewhere completely different.
