TEDx Geneva – This video has been a long time coming; I’m sorry. The last 5 months have been ridiculously crazy (in a good way though) so I’m not complaining! As the majority of you are aware I had the opportunity to speak at a TEDx event in the British School of Geneva. That was the first ever Vlog I have released and there will be many more to come. Anyway, let me break down the Vlog a little more; having the opportunity to inspire at TEDx Geneva was a dream come true for me – well actually it was two dreams come true. The first dream was to have an international talk and the second dream was to inspire at a TEDx event. Therefore I was very excited to kill two birds with one stone.
The topic for the TEDx event was ‘Pathways’ and I called my talk ‘Big Dreams’. As the majority of you already know I talk a lot about having big dreams and going after what you want in life. I touched on my own journey; the struggles and successes and, most importantly, what I have learned along the way. It was similar but still very different to the talks I deliver in schools; I truly enjoyed creating this talk and preparing for this event. It was a new challenge and I can’t wait for you to see the finished article.
After working so hard for something, it was nice to execute the talk to the best of my ability, of course there will be areas I can improve and develop, but that will come with time and experience.
