Wow it has gone quick; the first 3 months of 2017 is officially over, and the BIG question is what did you actually achieve? It is too easy to get stuck in the everyday running of life, not making huge progress because you lack serious direction. Before I continue I need you to watch the motivational video below , only 90 seconds long:
That’s right, I said it. Don’t be one of these people who spend more time planning a holiday than they do planning their own lives. This is common; but instead of living a life you want to escape from, why don’t you build a life you love and enjoy. This way you won’t be counting down the months until your holiday; instead you will be focused on progressing and developing yourself.
I digress a little; this isn’t about holidays this is about the next 90 days, not the rest of 2017, just focus on now. I discovered things change too quickly; therefore setting 12 or 6 months goals is broad, the time period is too long and the productivity is not great.
That is why I focus on 90 days; short and sharp, getting the job done. When I cut down the time scale I started to achieve more in 90 days than I did in 6 months. It creates urgency; this is vital when trying to become successful, action is important and operating at average in such a competitive world will not get you very far.
I think this is an important topic to discuss because everyone says they want to become successful in my motivational workshops. It’s my job to help and support them on their journey, and show them that they can achieve great things if they are willing to put in the work.
To conclude; set some 90 day goals, why you want to achieve it and how you are going to achieve it then do everything you possibly can to make it happen.
Don’t Be This Person
You can tell the success of a speaker within 5 minutes. This reduces to the first 1 minute when the audience are young people. They either get the students attention or they don’t. Of those that manage to capture their attention, few manage to keep it, especially for 60 minutes. Cameron achieved both.
