Cameron Parker on Ben Coomber Radio  – Welcome everyone; it has been awhile since we have connected on here, but there is a reason why I am writing this blog. I do have something very exciting to share with you. As the majority of you are aware; over the last couple of weeks I have been inspiring schools all across Suffolk, the ‘Take Your Place’ team have called it the ‘Suffolk Roadshow’.

Whilst in Suffolk; I reached out to my good friend Ben Coomber; Ben is a nutritionist, coach, founder of Awesome Supplements & BTN Academy, and the host of the #1 Podcast ‘Ben Coomber Radio’.

Taking you back 4 years ago I didn’t know Ben personally; however, I was a fan of his podcast and his work. When I was working my summer job I use to listen to the podcast all the time, I found the podcast inspiring and educational. Therefore, I knew one day I really wanted to get onto his show; I wasn’t sure how, or what we would even talk about but I knew I had an important message I would love to share.

Fast forward 4 years later the opportunity finally came and we recorded the show, apparently it was the longest podcast Ben has ever done with a guest. (Still trying to work out whether that is a good thing or whether I just talk to too much.)

With that said the response has been incredible; I received this messages straight after the show was released:

“Just listened to your podcast with Ben Coomber and holy shit, some of the stuff you guys said, particularly in the last 10-15 minutes, really hit home and made me realise that despite having a vision for the future and knowing what I want to achieve – I have been going through life blindfolded with no direction and not holding myself accountable.
I often tell myself that because I am a 23 year old with a 5 year old son and a 2 year old daughter, I dont have the time to really pursue my interest and passion / side hustle and still prioritise my family – which, after realising how much of my free time I waste,  is bullsh*t.
Not really sure what I want/hope will come out of emailing you, but just wanted to thank you for opening my eyes.
Also, massive props to you for actually getting out there and going to schools to inspire young people – wish I had that when I was at school! Anyway, thanks again for flicking the switch for me – keep doing what your doing.”

There you have it; if you would like to listen to the show then follow the link below and take a listen. I believe this will be the start of a great working relationship with Ben and his team and I’m excited to see what happens in the near future.
